Pskov Journal of Regional Studies (Pskov Regionological Journal, Pskovskij Regionologicheskij Zhurnal, Pskov. Reg. Zh.) presents the results of scientific research aimed at analyzing the political, economic, social, demographic, ethnocultural, and environmental problems of the development of various regions of Russia and foreign countries.
The journal pays special attention to regional research conducted in the Northwest of Russia and in the neighboring countries of Northern and Central Europe. Due to the rich historical and cultural heritage of these territories, research based on the traditions of national schools of "human geography", "cultural geography" and "historical geography" is welcome.
In addition, the tasks of the journal include the consideration of the theory and methodology of complex and "branched" regionological studies, various aspects of the border phenomenon, as well as new methodological approaches in the practice of zoning territories.

All articles submitted to the editorial board of the journal undergo a mandatory double-blind reviewing (the reviewer does not know the author of the manuscript, the author of the manuscript do not know the reviewer). The articles are reviewed through the online review module built into the web site.
